From: "Francesco Ruggiero" To: "Ralph Wolfgang Assmann" Subject: Re: LHC Collimator Project Meeting Date: Friday, February 21, 2003 8:09 PM Dear Ralph, Your minutes are fine. I have a few minor comments: - Switching the feedback off in collision is ok. The problem is before, i.e. during beta squeeze and luminosity steering. - You may want to mention the remark by Bernard on the tune spread from parasitic collisions (to be checked). - Larger beta functions (gain with 1/sqrt[beta])? Yes, you can drop the question mark. I enclose (most of) my slides in electronic form. Unfortunately they come from different sources and I don't know how to combine them in a single PDF file (but probably you or Martine know). I will send you a paper copy for reference.
